Christian & Johanna  We wanted to share a little of the new things happening here in YWAM London.At this time, we are starting our Arts Ministry called "TABOO" here in London and the Notting Hill area. We had our first art exhibition entitled "LIGHT" in the area of Visual Arts from the 22nd to 29th of May in Notting Hill. And the second art exhibition entitled "Under the skin of music". This last exibition was in December 11 to 19th 2009. We have also been working in different workshops in schools and in churches throughout the weeks. We have also been working with teams coming to invest their time here in London now or for the Olympics in 2012, giving us insight into the current art scene here in London and the potential challenges we face as artists and a mission. We are taking the needed steps to form unity and healthy bonds at a national level in the area of Arts in YWAM England. The last project we worked on as part of the Art exibition in December 2009 was on the "BONES" outreach which took place on 20-31st August building up to and during the Notting Hill Carnival. This work was fantastic!!! It was absolutely crazy and completely brilliant...imagine 40 people for the first camp and the carnival this year. Now we are just waiting for you in this new year!! Come and be part of it all!! Coming to the end of our first year here in London what we most desire is to build up a team of diverse artists working in the visual arts, dance, drama and music. We need people with a passion and a heart to bring transformation and breakthrough and who are prepared to give a long term commitment (2yrs) to the team and this City. We are asking for 2 yrs as a minimum commitment to give an opportunity for new team members to take hold of the vision for the city and be able to find their place and unique creative place in the plan in the team. It is time to stir up a godly revolution and reclaim the Arts back to the greatest Artist - the Creator Himself. Can you hear the call? Pray about it and let us know!!
