Jose & Rosana

OUR VISION

Jose and Rosana, the team Directors have been investing in people for over 23 yrs and in 1988 entered into full time mission with YWAM. The husband and wife team have pioneered from small to big, projects to bases and were more recently part of the national leadership in Argentina. With a heart to see revival breathed back into England and Western Europe, Jose and Rosana answered God’s call to move permanently to England and arrived in 2002. Below they explain the vision burning in their heart.

“The vision is to revive and encourage people to fulfil their destiny for their lives. London is one of the most important and relevant cities in the world and we know that whatever happens here will resonate to the rest of the world. When we think about reaching the unreached, often the first thing that comes to mind are countries in Asia or Central Asia. However, London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world; more than 300 languages are spoken here, so it seems that the world is in London, just like the tower of Babel (many languages in one place).

On top of that we have the Olympics coming to London in 2012, which will open up even more possibilities to see a breakthrough in the City and if you think of Western Europe as a whole, you can see the EU as one of the pillars of the postmodern society and that the need to reach people in these nations is huge.

We believe in England as a starting point we can make a big impact by the grace of God, in the City and the cities of Western Europe. We need to see another Pentecost taking place here! As Jesus said...”come and see”.
The Galarza Family

The Galarza family are originally from Argentina where they have been working in YWAM for 12 years. Arriving in England just over 7 years ago to help pioneer the DTS in London and bring some of that revival fire they are experiencing in Argentina. Jose Luis and Gabriela head up the DTS schools as School Directors and also manage the daily running of the base. Not only that but they are also dedicated parents to their three beautiful and talented children – Julieta, Yasmin and Antonella.
The Vargas Family

The Vargas family are originally from Puerto Rico,USA and Argentina. They have been working in YWAM for the last 11 years and arrived in England at the beginning of 2009. Launching themselves straight into the mission they are helping to pioneer the arts movement in London with the new Arts ministry called "TABOO" and throughout YWAM England as they seek to promote and encourage unity throughout the arts. Christian is now looking towards the Olympics - coming to London in 2012. He is also developing tattoo art as another avenue to reach others. Check out the "TABOO" Arts page and read all about the fire starting up. Christian and Johanna, artist and dancer, also provide support for the base and look after their two little children – Guimel and Melody.
