Jose & Rosana

OUR VISION

Jose and Rosana, the team Directors have been investing in people for over 21 yrs and in 1988 entered into full time mission with YWAM.  The husband and wife team have pioneered from small to big, projects to bases and were more recently part of the national leadership in Argentina.  With a heart to see revival breathed back into England and Western Europe, Jose and Rosana answered God’s call to move permanently to England and arrived in 2002.  Below they explain the vision burning in their heart.

“The vision is to revive and encourage people to fulfil their destiny for their lives.  London is one of the most important and relevant cities in the world and we know that whatever happens here will resonate to the rest of the world.  When we think about reaching the unreached, often the first thing that comes to mind are countries in Asia or Central Asia.  However, London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world; more than 300 languages are spoken here, so it seems that the world is in London, just like the tower of Babel (many languages in one place).

On top of that we have the Olympics coming to London in 2012, which will open up even more possibilities to see a breakthrough in the City and if you think of Western Europe as a whole, you can see the EU as one of the pillars of the postmodern society and that the need to reach people in these nations is huge.

We believe in England as a starting point we can make a big impact by the grace of God, in the City and the cities of Western Europe.  We need to see another Pentecost taking place here!  As Jesus said...”come and see”.

SUMMER 2010

As the vision grows so does the team! From two couples and two faithful workers to a team nearing 15 dedicated staff we give thanks for the 5 years we have been established in London.

Completing their BLS we will have four additional staff members and several new BLS students to join us along with a healthy number of students due in October.

As our staff and DTS numbers are increasing, we are also branching out from one property to two to accomodate everyone - we need lots of prayer to help this go through smoothly and for financial provision.

Each summer also brings the BONES Notting Hill Carnival outreach to the forefront where preparations are currently ongoing and many people from around the UK and overseas will be joining us to create an impact in the area and use the arts for His glory.  It is usually an intense time that is both very challenging and very rewarding so we need as much prayer cover as possible and people to come and serve with us.

...and to the next 5 years!

London City has so much potential to offer and so much vision to offer not to mention the Olympics that are fast approaching!  We welcome people who want to be part of the vision either for the BONES outreach or to dedicate 1-2 years in serving with us.  If you're feeling the call...write to us!

You can also be part of the mission by providing much needed prayer and financial support for the team and its missionaries.  There are always many opportunities to invest in the different ministries and the lives of the missionaries working here so if you would like to bless us with your support please get in touch.
